OLD FASHIONED HYMN SINGS

The first of a series of Old Fashioned Hymn Sings will be held Sunday, May 3 inside The Original Old Rugged Cross Church at 6:00 p.m. These Hymn Sings will be held the first Sunday of every month, May through October. The dates are:

May 3            August 2

June 7          September 6

July 5           October 4

The Hymn Sings are open to the public and will give people an opportunity to sing their old favorites from years past as well as traditional hymns. There is no charge for the Hymn Sings; however, a free-will offering will be taken and will be used toward the restoration of the church. Tours and gift items will be available before and after each Hymn Sing. (You can still schedule an Old Fashioned Hymn Sing in your church by calling the ORC office at 269-683-4540.)

July 11 or 25 There MAY be a dedication of the church on either of these two dates. Plans are not concrete yet.

August 3 - 8 The ORCF will host an information booth at the Cass County Fair in Cassopolis, Mich. Look for us in the commercial building just west of the grandstand.

August 17 - 22 The ORCF will host an information booth at the Berrien County Youth Fair in Berrien Springs, Mich. Look for us in Commercial building 37.

September 19 The Annual Praise Service will be held in The ORC Church.

September 20 The Annual Celebration will be held in The ORC Church

October 17 The annual Fall Festival and Bake Sale will be held in the basement of the Pokagan UMC, across the street from The Old Rugged Cross Memorial Garden.

An Open House will be held at The Old Rugged Cross Church.
